Maybe you’ve been struggling to keep up to date on Bushwick’s restaurant scene with its seemingly endless supply of new restaurants. Maybe you just really like good food and events at locations that are usually off limits. If you’re in either of those camps, you won’t want to miss this year’s Taste of Bushwick, happening on Tuesday, June 14th, from 6:30-9 pm on a private street within the iconic Boar’s Head warehouse at 24 Rock Street.

The price of entry will get attendees all they can eat from more than forty local vendors, including newcomers like BK Jani, Fair Weather Bushwick, Foster Sundry, and Syndicated. Returning vendors include Faro, FINE and Raw Chocolate Factory, Maite, Montana’s Trail House, Northeast Kingdom, Tchoup Shop and Tortilleria Mexicano Los Hermanos.

You won’t go thirsty, as the beverage offerings are just as on point as the food: the drink options will include boozy and non-boozy  Braven Brewing Company, Dromedary Bar, Henry’s Wine & Spirits, Hops & Hocks, Owney’s Rum by the Noble Experiment, and Bruce Cost Ginger Beer.

Scenes from Taste of Bushwick 2015

All proceeds from Taste of Bushwick benefit OBIE Award-winning nonprofit theater The Bushwick Starr, which has hosted everything from eco-playwriting workshops to a burgeoning Latino theater group in the 9 years since it was founded.

The rain or shine event takes place at the same location as it did last year: 24 Rock Street is just a stone’s throw away from the Morgan Ave stop on the L train. Tickets are $40 for the “hungry bird” special until June 7th and $50 after. A Taste of Bushwick Swag Bag with items from Bruce Cost Ginger Beer, Braven Brewing Company, Lofted Coffee Roasters, Hops & Hocks and more, is available for $45 in advance (online) and at the event (if available).

See you there, Bushwick gourmands!
