Some serious action scenes involving Brittany Snow of Pitch Perfect and a former wrestling champion turned actor Dave Bautista can be seen all over Bushwick these days.
Earlier we reported that action thriller titled aptly “Bushwick” directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion follows a 20-year-old Brooklynite Lucy (Snow) and war veteran Stupe (Bautista) as they meet during during a military invasion of Brooklyn (basically, the country is in war-mode as Texas tries to secede. NYC is the negotiation. Get it?) Together, the two unlikely friends must cross the treacherous five blocks of Bushwick, which is littered with looters, local militias, the invading forces and one crazy cousin — in order to get home and be reunited with Lucy’s grandmother.
An action scene filming involving a car turned on its side has been spotted by a Bushwick Daily team member at Willoughby Avenue between Cypress and Seneca Avenues last week.
Brittany Snow (basically) tweeted that she slammed her body against a car trying to make its window break while running as fast as she could.
