During the last six months of 2013 I discovered some rockin’ brews being served up in our neighborhood, from local taps at dives and restaurants to fledging breweries pouring their own beers with great plans on the horizon for our local beer scene

This week I’m going to digress from my usual comments on the neighborhood brews to bring you to my small hometown in the heartland of America

The first few truly wintery days this past week put me into full hibernation mode
