Bushwick’s new city council member is asking the community to submit ideas for physical infrastructure projects in the district.
Jennifer Gutiérrez, a Queens-born activist and former chief of staff to Brooklyn Borough President-Elect Antonio Reynoso, has won the election to be the 34th District City Council representative.
Bushwick residents have called for a five-year compromise with the city and CORE Services Group on the proposed men’s shelter at 97 Wyckoff Ave.,
