For Bushwick creatives and business professionals, particularly those who work freelance, finding a quiet space to work in can be difficult. A great fix to this dilemma is being part of a co-working or shared work space. Now, shared workspace company Bond Collective is hoping to provide a space where creative workers and business professionals in the neighborhood can prosper and commune with their Bushwick location.

“There are so many great professionals and creatives living in Bushwick and we wanted to provide a space for the community to grow and thrive at,” Carly Moore, the Bond Collective Bushwick team’s chief of staff, said of the new location.

“We noticed a lot of the workforce was trekking into the city for work every day,” Moore continued, “and thought it would make a lot of professionals lives easier if we created a space with easy access to Queens and Long Island.”

Conveniently located on 12 Park Street right by the M, J, and Z subway stops, Bond Collective Bushwick’s bright new digs is a three-floor work-share paradise the company designed from scratch. Adorned by pastel-colored walls and bleached wood floors, each corner of the shared work space radiates comfort and style, the type of environment to really help get those creative juices flowing.

Guests at Bond Collective Bushwick will find a sprawling stairwell at the building’s central terrazzo decked out by a top-to-floor glass atrium that leads to the office’s gorgeous roof decks. Officially opened since January 2019, the Bushwick space is Bond Collective’s sixth location in New York City, and features a wide array of amenities, including office spaces equipped with custom filing cabinets and expertly designed lamps that fit one or 50 guests, and private conference rooms that can accommodate up to 20 persons at a time.

Additionally, the space boasts phone booths (to avoid inviting glares from your neighbors), printing and mailing services, a nursing room, secure bike storage, a complimentary pantry, pet-friendly common areas, and amenitized showers with towel services — all readily available on-site.

There is also an isolated event space connected to the main coworking floor plan called The Atrium, a 7,500-sq-ft venue with a state of the art kitchen which guests can rent out for business functions.

Aside from its beautiful decor and flush amenities, what immediately stands out from the Bond Collective Bushwick space is the hospitality — there is a greeting desk with on-site staff — and attention to detail; the company’s in-house design team puts their special touch on everything, from the light fixtures illuminating the shared work space to the drink coasters in the pantry.

Entrepreneurs or business owners working out of the Bond Collective Bushwick office, who find themselves in need of more space for their growing business, can also request expansions —  or “customizations” — on their private rooms.
