A dance form that started in underground Black and LGBTQ+ clubs in 1970s Los Angeles is coming to Brooklyn. On July 26, Waack To The Future: Waack X K-Pop comes to 3 Dollar Bill, featuring Lip J, a star of the South Korean dance competition show “Street Woman Fighter,” according to a press release emailed to Bushwick Daily by Princess Lockerooo.

Princess Lockerooo, who describes herself as an internationally recognized choreographer, educator, and one of the leading figures preserving the history and legacy of Waacking, organized the event. The New…
