Purgatory is hosting a free weekly trivia night in its downstairs space every Tuesday at 7 p.m., according to a newsletter the Bushwick venue sent in January. The recurring event, billed as Queeriosity Trivia Night, is led by host Ladybyrd, who performs under the handle @byrdizword.

The venue, which describes itself as an “afterlife” bar and lists the trivia among its weekly programming, urged readers to “dust off your thinking caps and kick off your Tuesday evening,” according to the newsletter. The venue said the trivia runs every week and that admission is free.

Purgatory directed prospective attendees to RSVP for the trivia through the ticketing platform Dice. The venue also hosts other free recurring programming on weeknights, including a junk-journaling and zine-trade hang in the same downstairs room and a drag showcase called Re[Vision], according to the same newsletter.

Those interested can reserve a spot through Dice.
