MARY Fest, the full-day cannabis-threaded lifestyle festival produced by the team behind MARY Magazine, returns to Brooklyn on Friday, June 19, with organizers timing this year’s edition to the summer solstice rather than the event’s traditional April 20 date. The festival takes place at 99 Scott Ave. on the East Williamsburg–Bushwick border, with media, VIP and buyer access beginning at 10 a.m. and general admission running from noon to 6 p.m., according to the organizers.
Organizers described the move off April 20 as a deliberate choice meant to place the festival within what they called the broader wellness, fashion and culture calendar of New York City. In a press announcement, the team framed the new date as fitting because June 19 falls on a Friday and just before the longest day of the year, which the publicist said is a day off for many attendees.
MARY Fest bills itself as a festival and trade show merging culture, wellness, fashion and music, with a cannabis thread running through the day, according to the organizers. The event is set to feature brand activations from MFNY, Grön, Old Pal, Jaunty, Terra-Tory and Samuel Adams, among others, the organizers said, alongside a Garden of MARY showcasing emerging vendors and a wellness zone.
The day’s programming centers on the MARY Speaker Summit, which the organizers said gathers founders, brand builders and cultural voices for industry conversations. The anchor session for 2026, titled “Cannabis Creativity and Branding in the Modern Era,” is set to examine how cannabis brands are reaching new consumers and building lasting identities as the industry matures, according to the organizers. The panel is to be moderated by Peter Shafran of The Other Magazine and includes panelist Natalia Kaminskaya, the organizers said.
Live music is also on the schedule, and organizers said an afterparty with DJ 9AM is set to close the evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The PR announcement separately described that closing event as an invite-only Sunset Sesh Afterparty. Tickets are being offered through the festival’s website, and the organizers said press passes are available to journalists covering the event.
