Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani will hold a press conference Friday, May 15, to make a library announcement at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Cortelyou branch, according to a public schedule released by the mayor’s press office.
The press office said the conference is set for 10:45 a.m. at the branch, located at 1305 Cortelyou Road at Argyle Road in Brooklyn. An earlier version of the schedule, issued the previous day, had listed a 10:30 a.m. start time before the office updated it. The press office did not specify in the advisory what the announcement would entail.
The event is open to the press, and Mamdani will take questions, the press office said. The office said the press conference will be streamed live on nyc.gov and made available on Encompass Port CTY-3653. Photos from the event will be posted to the mayor’s office Flickr page, according to the advisory.
