According to updated city data, 53 percent of those eligible living in area codes 11237, 11221, 11207 and 11206 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and 61 percent have received at least one dose.
Compared to the rest of New York City’s neighborhood’s vaccination rates, Bushwick and it surrounding neighborhoods sit somewhere between the middle and the bottom of the pack. Citywide, 62 percent of eligible New Yorkers are fully vaccinated, and 69 percent have received at least one dose.
Many Manhattan neighborhoods, particularly those near Midtown, report 99.9 percent vaccination rates, while Borough Park, Brooklyn, reports the lowest vaccination rate, with 41 percent of its eligible residents fully vaccinated and 46 percent having received at least one dose.
