Churches United for Fair Housing’s political arm, CUFFH Action, said it will join the New York Working Families Party at the No Kings Day march on Saturday, March 28, organizing a Brooklyn-rooted contingent to protest the Trump administration’s policies on immigration and on cuts affecting seniors and people with disabilities.

The CUFFH Action contingent will gather at 211 W. 56th St. in Manhattan at 1 p.m. before merging into the larger No Kings march, the organization said in an email to supporters. Participants were told to look for the CUFFH logo and to RSVP by replying to the email. CUFFH Action lists its mailing address as 7 Marcus Garvey Blvd. in Brooklyn.

The group framed the action as a chance to “stand up to the Trump administration,” writing that it is “committed to expanding and strengthening our multi-racial democracy and fighting for affordable housing so all New Yorkers can live and thrive.” It urged supporters to “fight back against harmful policies for our immigrant neighbors and cruel cuts for seniors and the disabled.”

CUFFH Action described the protest as “poised to be the largest day of collective action ever in the USA,” closing its appeal with the rallying line, “the people united – will never be defeated.” The email was paid for by CUFFH Action and noted it was “not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.”
