A 24-year-old man has been arrested for running over and killing a bicyclist in Ridgewood last month.

Sean Martin was arrested by police on September 14, three weeks after hitting 65-year-old Eucario Xelo on the corner of Woodbine Street and Seneca Avenue.

Martin was charged with manslaughter but then the incident was eventually ruled a homicide, according to an NBC report

Surveillance video near the incident showed Martin steering the ATV directly into Xelo. He was also seen swerving into another bicyclist in Ridgewood as well.

Xelo died from his injuries at the beginning of September.

The incident is not Martin’s first brush with law enforcement. He is wanted for several crimes including assault and burglary in April, and marijuana possession last September, QNS reported
