The 21-year-old victim of the Bushwick Playground shooting has been identified as Hamler Cabrera de Jesús.
The shooting that killed him and injured two others started after 6:30 p.m.
Cabrera de Jesús was the father of two children, according to PIX 11. His friends and family have set up a memorial with candles and photos on Gates Avenue in Ridgewood.
A crowd had gathered under the rain this Friday in front of the memorial to pay their respects. As of this reporting, police are still investigating the motives behind the shooting and are trying to find the suspect responsible for the shooting.
