Bushwick Daily Is Adding New Freelance Writers To the Team!

Do you have a passion for hyperlocal news and compelling stories? Then we want you to write for us.

Bushwick Daily is expanding, and we’re looking for some new battle-ready freelancers to dive into the latest happenings in the neighborhood and craft well-reported stories.

What we’re looking for

Bushwick Daily is looking for well-reported news and feature stories that give our readers a 360-degree view of the neighborhood and all of the different people who inhabit it. We want writers with ideas, honesty and integrity to join our freelance team and cover the restaurants, bars, arts, cultural events, politics, people and news in Bushwick, East Williamsburg and Ridgewood.

In no specific order, here are some recent freelanced news and feature stories that fit what we’re looking for.

How to become a Bushwick Daily freelancer

In your pitch email, please convince us why we need to be telling your stories now, why they’re important and when you can write them for us. Please also provide links to your previously published articles.

If we’re interested, we’ll be in touch.

Thanks for being great, Bushwick — we look forward to hearing from you!
