A Man in a Fluorescent Traffic Safety Jacket Robbed a Cell Phone Store in Bushwick

Cops have their eyes peeled for a flamboyant suspect who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint in Bushwick on Friday. 

Around 12:50 p.m., a man wearing a florescent traffic safety jacket entered the store at 1727 Broadway, pretending at first that he was going to buy a phone. The suspect then whipped out a gun, demanding cash and cell phones, police said.

The store employees handed over money, a Galaxy S8, and an Iphone 7 — devices with a combined value of about $2,000. The suspect took off westbound on Broadway, according to cops.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, brown pants, brown boots, and a florescent yellow and orange traffic jacket.
