A man died after falling from the building of a popular coworking station in Bushwick yesterday.

Around noon, FDNY discovered the body of a deceased man on the sidewalk outside Brooklyn Desks at 49 Wyckoff Ave.

Police have confirmed that the man fell from the four-story building, which is a half-block from the Jefferson Street station, but investigators are still determining the exact cause of the incident or whether it was a suicide. The man’s identity is currently being withheld due to the investigation.

Brittany, who asked that we not use her last name, was walking to her Ridgewood home when she passed the scene.

“It was definitely a shocking, eerie scene, something that you would see out of Law and Order SVU or something,” she told Bushwick Daily.

“There were multiple police cars, undercover cop cars, and ambulances onsite. A portion of the sidewalk was also roped off with yellow tape and they had a white sheet over a body on the floor. It was really upsetting, and none of us onlookers could figure out exactly what happened,” she said.
