Police are looking for a man who entered a Bushwick woman’s apartment last weekend, exposed himself and attempted to sexually assault her.

Law enforcement sources said the attack occurred at about 6:50 a.m. on March 25 in the vicinity of Irving and Greene Avenues.

According to authorities, the suspect—described as a Hispanic male between 18 and 20 years of age, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red sneakers—climbed up a fire escape, opened a window and entered the apartment.

The female resident woke up to find the man inside her bedroom. Police said he exposed himself and then attempted to rape her. Authorities said the woman managed to fight off her attacker, who fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the incident. The woman was not seriously injured.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
