Less than two weeks have passed since a man was shot dead on a late Sunday afternoon near Maria Hernandez Park. This morning, the Bushwick community is hearing about yet another shooting, which occurred last night at Knickerbocker Ave and Putnam St., and was followed by a SWAT helicopter response. “Friend and I were walking to Deals when that happened, I haven’t ran that fast in a long time,” commented a man on Reddit.
