“Bushwick is still Puerto Rican!” claims Willie Jr. passionately in the preview of the new web series East Willy B, which will premier on April 13 online here.
The creators of the upcoming show say that they’ve created an American story told through Latin eyes. It is a story about gentrification of a neighborhood and how it impacts its locals. Willie Jr. runs a popular Puerto Rican bar at Broadway, near the Kosciusko stop, which is now facing a threat that it will have to close down. However, Willie Jr. is not ready to give up just yet and has a plan. Only time will tell how will he and the new Bushwick series do.
