No more going to salons and wasting hours of your time just to look gorgeous! Thanks to Bushwick resident, Katja Bartholomess, the gorgeousness will follow where you are! Katja, originally from Berlin, Germany, launched her brand new start up Gimme Gorgeous yesterday with friends, champagne, strawberries and a manicure party in a Chelsea loft.
Gimme Gorgeous will function as a website and an app, which allow you to book house calls from your favorite salons in your neighborhood. Hopefully, my fav Tomahawk will be on it too! The idea was born when Katja was sick and stuck at home. She was able to have her food and other things delivered but not her salon visits. And so this skilled beauty brand strategist didn’t hesitate a second, and made her entrepreneurial dreams come true.
