Our (likely) most favorite illustrator Jeremy Nguyen created this lovely illustration based on an old Slovak proverb: “If you want to know what the neighborhood is like, look at the shoes hanging from its telephone wires.” Okay so I maybe totally made that up, there is no such proverb, but I bet there’s something to it.
