If you were at Alphaville on Monday night, you probably partied with Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez paid a visit to Bushwick this week, to attend a friend’s concert on Monday night. Donning the comfiest sweatpants and sneakers, the singer joined local Brooklynites at the dive bar and venue to enjoy a night out with her friends.

According to Elle magazine, “Gomez went with two of her friends, Caroline Franklin and Anna Collins. Collins’ boyfriend Fox Atticus Martindale is in the band, so the girls were there to support him. Gomez shared a photo booth picture the friends took and plenty of Instagram Stories of Martindale performing.”

Alphaville, which opened in October of 2014, has quickly become a staple of the Bushwick music community, drawing in both local and touring bands alike. And this Monday, the celebrity fan joined friends at the Goodbye Honolulu concert.

“Gomez trekked to Brooklyn (probably not via L train, but it’s fun to imagine) to support her favorite band, Toronto-based act Goodbye Honolulu.” Paper Magazine details, “She shouted them out in a radio interview last week.”

Selena Gomez’s shoutout and attendance are further proof that Bushwick has solidified its place in the indie music scene. There’s no doubt that more quality shows (and perhaps celeb cameos) are in Alphaville’s future.
