We can’t really think of too many things better than a happy hour, especially on a summer afternoon. So, we’ve rounded up all the best Bushwick happy hour spots to make sure you’re getting the best bang for your buck. Let us know which one is your go-to spot!
Birdy’s has all the ingredients for a cool neighborhood watering hole. The drink prices are reasonable, they’ve got bar snacks available to order, and we’re into the vintage, punk decor. They’ve also got foosball and other games to keep you entertained. We heard they’re opening a sister bar in Ridgewood, so stay tuned!
During happy hour running until 9 pm, you can sip on a no frills $2 beer and wells are $4, and you can’t really say no to a deal like that.
Birdy’s is located at 1215 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11221. Hours: 2 pm – 4 am daily.
How fun is a tiki bar in the summer? We’re pretty into the decorative glasses and intricate drinks, but we also love the very Bushwick interior and exterior décor. This place has an outdoor patio (with cool graffiti art), which is a great place to drink a tiki beverage! Catch their new lunch hours and menu starting July 1 at 1 pm! They will be serving up coconut fried chicken with macadamia waffles!
Happy hour is Monday through Friday 5 to 8 pm, they do food and drink combos from $12-$15, $1 off all beer, $2 off all wine, $5 well drinks and $8 Mt. Kilauea Colodas.
They do a lot of fun events here from karaoke to burlesque shows!
Dromedary is located at 266 Irving Ave, BK. Hours: Monday – Saturday, 5 pm to 4 am, Saturday 1 pm to 4 am, Sunday 1 pm to 2 am.
All craft beer lovers will appreciate Precious Metal’s selection of drafts, many of them rotating and seasonal. You’ll also love the sky light that fills the place with beautiful natural light throughout, but especially the bar area. Check out their cool events, too, like Cambodian food pop-ups!
Happy hour is daily until 8 pm, with $4 well cocktails, shots and select drafts!
Check this place out for a low key first date.
Precious Metal is located at 143 Troutman St, BK. Hours: Monday – Friday 4 pm to 2 am, Saturday 2 pm to 4 am, Sunday 1 pm to 12 am
Sea Wolf, with its sustainability culture and daily oyster specials, is your little oasis from the city, but it still maintains Bushwick’s more industrial and urban vibe with the graffiti out front. The restaurant serves up some of the freshest ingredients for food and drink, and the menu changes seasonally.
If you’re in the mood for something more upscale, without losing the happy hour part, this is a good bet. From 4 to 7 pm every day, enjoy $1 oysters, wings, and buffalo cauliflower. Sip those down with $5 beers, $6 wine, and $6 frozen cocktails.
Sea Wolf is located at 19 Wyckoff Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237. Hours: Sunday – Thursday 11 am to 11 pm, Friday & Saturday 11 am to 12 am.
This neighborhood bar in Ridgewood is a little divey, a little eccentric, but all about having a good time. It’s also got a bit of a sailor theme throughout. Everything is affordable, and the happy hour makes it even more so.
Also to make note of are a pool table, a photo booth, and a couple of rotating arcade games including Buck Hunter HD and Star Trek Pinball! Enjoy the front patio during the sunset!
The Windjammer is located 552 Grandview Ave, Ridgewood. Hours: Monday – Wednesday 4 pm to 2 am, Thursday & Friday 4 pm to 4 am, Saturday 12 pm to 4 am, Sunday 12 pm to 2 am.
Really looking for a sports bar? We’ve got you covered. 895 Bar will play all the major games and sporting events. There’s also a pool table, air hockey, and darts in the back if you want to participate in a little something active yourself. Great for groups, as they offer pitchers and buckets of beer.
895 Bar has a two for one deal Monday through Friday before 8pm and a BOGO $1 happy hour! However, they don’t serve food, but instead they’ve partnered with a restaurant nearby to get you food if you’re hungry. That’s pretty good customer service in our book.
895 Bar is located at 895 Broadway, BK. Hours: Monday – Thursday 5 pm to 3 am, Friday & Saturday 3 pm to 4 am, Sunday 3pm to 12 am.
If you’re in the mood for a good old-fashioned dive bar, this is a great choice. There’s no fancy frills here, but they’ve got drink specials all night and nothing will break the bank. Plus, they’re the only bar a skee-ball machine around. The staff is also well-trained on predatory behavior and want to keep their patrons safe and happy. What more could you ask for from a bar?
Happy hour is from 5 pm to 9 pm, you can get $2 off drafts, $3 well drinks and a $4 beer-and-shot.
This is a great laidback, casual drinking option.
Old Timers is located at 1157 Myrtle Ave, BK. Hours: 5 pm to 4 am daily.
Koda may look like your typical neighborhood bar, but it’s a lot more than that. For starters, it has not one but two happy hours. Yes, you read that right. The first is from 5 to 10 pm (which gives you ample time to enjoy the specials), and then again from 1 to 3 am, to accommodate for those late nights. They’ve got everything from $2 select beers to $5 margaritas and wine on tap.
And don’t miss 50 cent wing night on Tuesday and $1 beer night on Wednesday. This is a great spot if you’re looking to get a lot for your money and to enjoy a cozy backyard.
Koda is located at 985 Flushing Ave, BK. Hours: Monday – Saturday 5pm to 4 am, Sunday 5 pm to 12 am.
