My closest friend, coffee. Some of us (like me) rely on it three or four times a day, and others simply enjoy it on a relaxed weekend morning.

It comes in so many beautiful flavors and sizes. If you ask me, every day (depending on the weather and day of the week) calls for a different coffee. Eighty-five and sunny on a Wednesday afternoon in July, definitely calls for a cold brew. Forty degrees on a Sunday in October, you’ll see me with a hot cappuccino. And black drip coffee, well that’s a constant.

When deciding a favorite coffee shop, there are so many factors to consider. Of course, there is the actual coffee. How are the beans? But, perhaps of equal importance is the atmosphere. Do you like a big shop, full of tables for working and conversation? Or, are you more of a small shop, grab-n-go type of person? Well, now is the time to tell us.

It is time for nominations!

What is your favorite Bushwick coffee shop?

All coffee shops in and around the neighborhood are fair game. I don’t care if your favorite place has one bench outside or is full of tables and chairs. It doesn’t matter to me if there is a menu of delicious pastries or if the only thing served is hot drip coffee. If you’ve got a favorite local coffee shop, nominate it!

So, what is the best coffee shop in Bushwick? Let us know in the comment section below! Or, email your nomination to the editor: [email protected]

Nominations close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4
