At the end of the month, the Best of Bushwick series will be coming to a close. And we would be remiss if we didn’t hold a competition for the best bakery! Mmmm. I can smell fresh bread just thinking about it.
Bushwick and its surrounding areas are full of delightful bakery options. Whether you’re a sweets person, a fan of more savory items (like me), or are into all of the above, the local bakeries in and around Bushwick have you covered.
But, there can only be one winner!
So what will it be? Will you choose to nominate the place where you pick up your Saturday cannolis? Maybe you’ll instead opt for the spot where you sit down to enjoy a Sunday morning pastry. Or, could it be the place where you pick up a fresh loaf of bread for the week?
No more time to wait. It is time for nominations! What is the best bakery in/around Bushwick?
As with all of the other competitions, we aren’t going to be overly strict here. I don’t care if the bakery specializes in one thing or if it offers a million different baked goods. I don’t care if it is brand new or has been around for half a century. As long as it is a local business focused on baking, it is fair game. But, I might add that it has to actually be a bakery. A restaurant that makes its own bread, for example, would not qualify.
