From Bunker to Honey’s, the little pocket east of Knickerbocker Avenue and north of Flushing Avenue is heating up. By this fall, you’ll also be able to sample Nicaraguan street food brought to you by the same people who brought some delicious grilled cheese love to Manhattan and Brooklyn alike with Little Muenster.

Chica will open at 198 Randolph St. this fall with a menu largely consisting of Nicaraguan street food, Grub Street first reported

The owners, Vanessa Palazio, her husand Adam Schneider, and Nathan Meshberg told Bushwick Daily they “love the neighborhood and thought it would be a fun addition to the Bushwick restaurant scene.”

The address was once rumored to be the location of a 1300 person club and restaurant from the owners of Bossa Nova Civic Club.

Stay tuned for more information as we follow the buildout, which is already underway, and eventual opening.
