This year Halloween falls on Monday, Oct. 31, which means that this whole week leading up to it is full of seriously spooktacular events. In Bushwick we have everything from immersive ragers, storytelling event, no shame brunch to TONS of fantastic candy.

Contender for the title of the best club in the universe of all times, Bushwick’s own, House of Yes, naturally won’t disappoint this Halloween. On Monday, they’re holding a "sacred night" of Gala of the Gone. Come in your best Halloween attire and dance to honor the spirit of our mortality. Expect: libations & lounges; Ouija boards & performance séance; massages & candles; altars of art for the ones we have loved and lost; tarot and a lot more. You’re invited to bring your intentions and messages. The entry is free with an RSVP before 1 p.m. $15-30 afterwards.

World's End Halloween presented by BABËL & House of Yes (FRI 10 p.m.)

Secret location to be revealed to ticket buyers

For those of you who want to experience something truly special this Halloween, BABËL and House of Yes have prepared a massive affair – a multi-faceted, fully-immersive theatrical party experience unlike anything they’ve ever created. In multiple spaces, they’re inviting you to watch “the society crumbling, spirituality replacing religion and community replacing government.” The line-up of DJs is nothing short of epic: LEE BURRIDGE, NU (live), BEHROUZ, YOKOO, STAVROZ (live), HOJ. Tickets are $60-100. Also you should be a firm believer in magic.

WALK of NO SHAME - A Morning After Brunch at Lot 45 (SUN 11 a.m.)

If you’re going to party hard on Saturday, chances are that you’ll be leaving stranger’s apartment on Sunday morning looking like hell. Lot 45, an epic Bushwick club and lounge, invites you to strut your worst stuff proudly. Sunglasses are welcome. The dark side of your Halloween costume is the bright side of this brunch. Bushwick’s fave tiki bar, Dromedary, is very serious about their costume contest party. The winner will walk home with the hard cash of $250! The rest of us will get $3 Tecates, El Buho Mezcal as well as Bayou Rum cocktails! When you get hungry, Bushwick’s beloved burger master, Duncan’s Burgers will be slinging some delicious patties! New York’s two of the best Halloween parties will combine for an epic night of live music and dancing in a massive haunted house as an army of artist friends transform Knockdown Center’s sprawling rooms and courtyards into a labyrinth of creepy performances, live visuals, multimedia art installations, horror cinema and much more! SAMHAIN ritual + celebration at Catland (MON 9 p.m.)

It should be noted that Halloween is basically every day at Catland, Bushwick’s beloved occult bookstore and event space, and so heading there Monday night will be nothing short of perfect. Expect opening ritual at 10 p.m., live music by Espejismo, Mandy & The Mandys, and Coven of Mima Good) and interactive art by Fire & LED by Andromeda Artistry Productions, Human Puppetry by River Tatry, Polaroid photo booth, Disembodied storytelling by Teshale Nuer. ROCK. IS. DEAD. The Halloween Show at Unit J (SAT 9 p.m.)

DYI venue Unit J, is throwing a raging Halloween show featuring some of your favorite revived rock acts! The venue will hold costume contest, serve cricket brownies + blood punch with a rad dance floor! Line-up includes: The Zombie Beatles, The Talking Deads, and The Ghost of Patsy Cline. HallowZINE! at Shoestring Studio (SAT 12 p.m.)

On Saturday, from noon to 7 p.m. head to HALLOWZINE, a zine and comics festival curated by Brooklyn Draw Jam. Expect zines, comix, prints, live drawing, tricks, treats, candy, beer and BBQ in the backyard! All are welcome, costumes are super-welcome! Admission is free!

This already classic party for everyone who is famous in Bushwick, i.e. everyone, is going down on Friday at The Starliner. If you read Bushwick Daily on the reg (like you should), you know that we’re seriously crushing on the beautiful new Talon Bar. This Halloween, the good folks have planned a trio of events to get you rocking in three different costumes starting on Thursday from 6 to 11 p.m. They will have live art and merchandise by Dinkc and TMO. On Friday, they’ll have DJs Moptop and Brent Tactic spinning from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. And finally on Saturday, look forward to DJ Josai from 10p.m. to 3 a.m. Admission is free!

Scarier Than Hell Movie Night at Bushwick Abbey (THU 7:30 p.m.)

Haunted Oktoberfest Funk Throwdown at The Rosemont (SAT 8 p.m.)

What is candy for children, that is delicious craft beer to adults! Bushwick’s beloved brewery and taproom, KCBC, has a lot going on on Saturday from noon to midnight. Expect special beer cocktails, pumpkin decorating for kids during the day, limited edition taproom only beers, costume contest, delicious food and killer tunes! Admission is free!

Body Art Soul Halloween Special at Body Art and Soul Tattoos (FRI 12 p.m.)

95 Morgan Ave., East Williamsburg

Another one of awesome Halloween traditions we love are cheap tattoos! At Body Art Soul they will be tattooing 50 flash designs available for $31 + $9 minimum tip. They will also be holding a costume contest and giving away prizes starting at 7 p.m. Anyone who gets a tattoo will receive a wristband to be used for discounted drinks at Wayward Social.
