Are there really ever enough places to drink outdoors in the summer? We don’t think so. Those who frequent the Jefferson L stop may have already noticed what is now confirmed as a new beer garden opening in June.

Information is still sparse, but a peek behind the “boozin in Bushwick” bottle mural on Wyckoff Avenue and Starr Street opens up to a massive space with an outdoor bar, string lights, and a variety of seating. The name, simply Wyckoff Beer Garden, was filed as an LLC back in February. It has an active Instagram page describing the venue as an “all outdoor pop-up beer garden that celebrates the beauty of art, food, & beer.” It also confirms a June opening, but does not indicate exactly when.

In addition to the outer mural, owners have commissioned a series of local artists for interior artwork as well. No word yet on what the beer selection will look like, but between the name, signage (a Wyckoff street sign), and mural-heavy decoration, there seems to be a local theme. It is probably safe to expect options from at least a few local breweries.

Get ready Bushwick! Wyckoff Beer Garden is opening just in time for patio season. We might even have a new contender for our Best in Bushwick series!
