Halloween week is jam-packed with a ton of excellent shows.  Here are some of the best ones to get you in the spooky spirit:


Wednesday, October 30

Omni, Patio, The Hecks at Turk’s Inn, 8 p.m.

Atlanta post-punk outfit Omni are spending a few days in Brooklyn for two nights of shows and they’ll be wrapping up their short stay in town on Wednesday Night in the Sultan Room at Turk’s Inn. The band just shared the third single, “Courtesy Call,” from their thYird album, which is due out on Friday via Sub Pop.  They’ll enjoy support from Patio, who released their impressive debut album Essentials earlier this year, and Chicago’s The Hecks, who just dropped an excelled new record called My Star on Trouble In Mind


Thursday, October 31

Yeasayer, Kalbells, Bay Faction, Chloe MK at Elsewhere, 8 p.m.

Celebrate two special occasions on Thursday night at Elsewhere: Halloween and the venue’s 2nd birthday! The venue pulled out all the stops for this double celebration, enlisting the talents of Yeasayer, who just released their stunning fifth album, Erotic Reruns, and cosmic bedroom pop act Kalbells.  Also performing are Brooklyn indie-rock trio Bay Faction and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Chloe MK.


Friday, November 1

Blush FM, Jade iii at C’mon Everybody, 8 p.m.

Price: $10

Blush FM, a new, intriguing electronic dance project burst into the local scene in 2019 with a series of infectious singles marked by trip-hop beats overlaid with sultry vocals. You can check out these three singles, “Bounce,” “Moving,” and “Glistening,” along with two new tracks on Blash FM’s debut EP, Project A, which dropped earlier this month. Friday night at C’mon Everybody is the project’s first-ever live performance, and they’ll be joined by experimental noise artist Jade III.


Saturday, November 2

Pinc Louds, Los Cumpleaños at Market Hotel, 8 p.m.

The multi-lingual Pinc Louds are simultaneously celebrating their 4th anniversary as a band and Day of The Dead by bringing their high energy live performance to Market Hotel on Saturday night. The group, who are well-known for their vivacious live performances that feature colorful theatrics and giant puppets, are working on a new record, so expect to hear some new tunes. They’ll be joined by the similarly colorful and vibrant tropical dance quintet, Los Cumpleaños.
