As the nation continues to warm up to cannabis, Cannabidiol aka CBD has become a friend to the wellness community, quickly climbing its way up to mainstream notoriety. The marijuana alternative is diverse as it is “magical,” and some claim it can treat acne, anxiety, insomnia, and depression while also having anti-inflammatory properties as well.

Caffeine Underground is NYC’s first CBD infused coffee shop. Known for its Flower Power coffee grinds and Trippin’ Tea, the health first cafe sells kava and charcoal drinks, too. Not to mention, their ample space and tranquil vibes is perfect for those who WFH. Feel free to bring your laptop and get down to grind, while chucking back a few CBD gummies to ease your mind. Bodeguita is an island get away right off the JMZ Myrtle Avenue-Broadway Avenue stop. The dimly lit bar – which means little corner store in Spanish – serves cuban staples like arroz con pollo and ropa vieja, alongside CBD infused cocktails. You can also check out some live music regularly from 9 p.m. to 11p.m, a perfect zen-filled night cap.
Friends NYC is located in The BogArt, a converted warehouse in Bushwick. They sell CBD infused tonic, oils, and gummies as well as contemporary and vintage clothing, and a variety of accessories and jewelry. If you can’t find the time to stop by in person, check out their website.
If you want to stock up on products, you can head to NYC’s first CBD brick and mortar. The healing nook is packed with crystals and incense galore where you can also buy CBD by the 8th. Pre-rolled hemp joints, honey, edibles and CBD tinctures are also available for purchase, which is pretty ideal and allows room for you to figure out what works best for you.
Women owned and operated, Grassroots Juicery offers over 58 variety of juices. Made to order drinks can include a drop of CBD oil at your request. Additionally, they sell Super Chill CBD bites with pecans, dates, coconut oil and more. They’re on the cusp of East Williamsburg and Williamsburg, so they’re a great option if you’re near the L.
