A Dead Man Was Found on the Ground in Bushwick’s Most Holy Trinity Cemetery

Not exactly a traditional burial: Police responding to a 911 call at Bushwick’s Most Holy Trinity Cemetery Thursday morning discovered the body of an unidentified man lying on the ground among the graves.

Police tell the Daily News that the man, who is believed to have been in his 30s, was found lying face up and “had a goatee and was dressed in black pants and a black T-shirt with a satanic symbol,” and had begun to decompose.

Officials believe he had been in the cemetery for at least a day before he was discovered by a cemetery caretaker, though the medical examiner has yet to determine the official cause of death.

An investigation into the man’s death is ongoing.
