…because print is like vinyls in the age of Spotify.
The long-awaited first issue of print quarterly magazine, Bushwick Notebook, created by the Bushwick Daily team, is coming to your hands and eyes on June 1!
Join us for a celebration of this very special occasion on a Bushwick roof on Wednesday, June 3 from 8 to 11PM (location will be revealed after you RSVP, two days before the event).
To baptize the magazine, we will all drink free beer donated by Bushwick very own Braven Brewing Company; we will eat delicious free pizza donated by the local staple Tony’s Pizzeria (443 Knickerbocker Ave), which has been in the neighborhood for 40+ years; and delicious burgers from Duncan’s Burgers served lovingly late nights at The Rookery, at The Shwick on the weekends and newly from a cart at N. 12th and Bedford Ave.
Bushwick’s beloved bar The Rookery (427 Troutman St) is inviting everyone to attend their after party from 11pm. They’ll be doing 2 for 1 drink special for the people coming from our launch party. You can pick up a ticket with Duncan Burger’s. There will be an all night happy hour for anyone who might have missed the launch but wants to hang out after!

Bushwick Notebook allows us to zoom in on the amazing neighborhood we love so much, and discuss it in greater detail. The first issue will feature epic content that transcends the borders of the neighborhood, making it relevant to anyone seeking quality information about the trends being set by NYC’s most creative community.
Bushwick Notebook will be your perfect mid-size read you can easily fit in a purse and carry around for the entire summer (we truly hope to see you read it in the Rockaways). The magazine is fully replacing our print (unofficial) curated guide to Bushwick Open Studios we have been publishing for two previous summers. But don’t be sad, Issue #1 contains a detailed guide to the most awesome viewings and experiences during this year’s festival.
The magazine will be freely distributed throughout the neighborhood’s coolest cafes and bars. But if you want to make sure you’re the first one to get your hands on a copy and you want to receive each issue with a cute gift, you can subscribe ($19/year) and will send it to you by mail.
