The six fellows of the 2025–2026 New City Critics class will gather June 17 at DCTV in Lower Manhattan to mark the end of their fellowship year and launch their publication, City en Regalia, the Urban Design Forum said in announcing the event.

The conversation runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at DCTV, 87 Lafayette St., according to the forum. The fellows will discuss their writing process and the questions that drove it, the announcement said. The forum is asking attendees to RSVP through an online form.

City en Regalia was guest edited by Elizabeth Greenspan and designed and printed by a83, according to the Urban Design Forum. This year’s fellows looked at “the many lives of urban spaces—from the off-grid to the heavily planned—and how we traverse and make sense of them,” the forum said.

The forum said the fellows’ final pieces train their attention on subjects as varied as Zohran Mamdani’s Carhartt jacket, efforts to transform the sinking Jewel Streets, the rise of Temu and New York City’s Industrial Business Zones, the increasingly frequent use of Ubers as makeshift ambulances, the act of cutting across the city’s predetermined pathways in pursuit of desire, and aspirations of circularity in urban construction projects.

The 2025–2026 New City Critics are Jessica Angima, Enrique Aureng Silva, Amanda Chen, Saritha Ramakrishna, Olivia Fu and Lucas Vaqueiro, according to the forum. More details and registration are available on the event page.
