Harry Martin’s party, Rollerwave, shatters age and demographic barriers. Rollerwave has gone down at Bushwick’s House of Yes, the Soho House in Chelsea, and in many other places across the city. With a skateable floor, the right music, and good people, Martin turns venues into a 1970s time machine. Plus, the dude cuts loose on eight wheels.
Martin is based in Bushwick. He isn’t a fan of popular rap music, and he’s trying to bring rollerskating and the good-time vibes of disco back into the mainstream.
