We’re back in action for a Bushweek. 

Monday: Weekly Potlucks at Footlight

7-11 p.m. at Footlight Bar, 465 Seneca Ave., Ridgewood

Footlight bar hosts a potluck supper every Monday in January, starting today! They’ll be collecting canned goods, donations, and business casual men’s clothing for the Doe fund! Bring a dish or two, and enjoy delicious free food with awesome people from your community.

Tuesday: Open mic

8-11 p.m. at Little Skips, 941 Willoughby Ave.

Tuesday Night Open Mic will be making its triumphant return at Little Skips! Performers of all shapes and sizes, genres, and talents are welcome to sign up and show what they got to the Bushworld! 

Wednesday: Cute activist 

8 p.m. at The Bushwick Starr, 207 Starr St.

Cute Activist is a playfully fabulist, wildly satirical, anti-romantic comedy that asks questions about the way activism fits — or doesn’t fit — into our daily lives. Check out the preview on Wednesday before the official opening on Jan. 13!

Friday: Goth rap beach party

10 p.m.-4 a.m. at Bizarre Bushwick, 12 Jefferson St.

Bringing the beach to the party and the rap to the goth, Bizarre Bushwick hosts a free all-night dance party. Bring them dolla’ bills, y’all.

Sunday: The Great Bushwick Bake-Off

7 p.m. at Boobie Trap, 308 Bleeker St. 

Preheat your ovens! The Great Bake Off is coming to Bushwick. Assemble a team of three, bake one signature dish, bake the agreed-upon challenge dish, and present your culinary creations to the bartender at Boobie Trap who will pick the winner!
