Last week presented a vast array of dramatic celestial events, ranging from the summer solstice to a new moon in Cancer. I don’t know how about you, friends, but I’ve had enough, and this week, I desire nothing more than to chill. No more energy shifts, please!

HIP Lit, organizers of some of the best readings in the neighborhood and beyond, have invited Olivia Kate Cerrone, Charlotte Shane, Chris Wolfe, and Zeeva Bukai to read from their new books.

The monthly Little Cinema is not your ordinary movie night. This month you have to guess a movie they’ll be reinterpreting in collaboration with The Love Show, a theatrical company to take your breath away. Come in a costume!

The monthly Brooklyn’s Gothic Dark dance party will pay tribute to Italian horror. DJ Alex Von Nihil will spin some synth, post-punk, and goth tunes, all the while Italian horror movies will play on the large screen.
