The Strawberry Mini-Full Moon is upon us today, providing us with the perfect celestial conditions to celebrate LGBTQIA+Pride Week! 

We’ve got a lot going on in our neighborhood, so let’s get right into it. Just don’t forget your rainbow!

All of the events below are happening this Saturday. 

Brooklyn Pride at House of Yes: Jubilee, Dai Burger & Whitney Day 

10 p.m. – 4 a.m., House of Yes, 2 Wyckoff Ave., Bushwick, $20

Bushwick’s (and the world’s) premier sex-positive venue, the beautiful House of Yes, will welcome all LGBTQAI+ peeps and their friends, for an over-the-top celebration of rainbows, glitter and love. This in- and outdoor experience will feature DJs Whitney Day, Jubilee, BKLYN Storm, Headlining Performer Dai Burger. The organizers warn that the event is sold out and so you should come early for a limited number of $20 tickets sold at the door.

There will be a LOT of Pride love within a five-block radius in Bushwick this Saturday, because Lot 45, a sexy lounge and a bar, was booked by Brooklyn Pride for the official afterparty of the Pride Week. Score! Expect DJs Ches, Ickarus, Robi D Light; performers Zenobia, Will Sheridan, Emira and Paradise; Vogue-Go Magic by Omari Mizrahi & The House of Olympus, as well as the Pride photo booth by Mago Hagopian of the Village Voice.

If you want to celebrate the Pride sans admission fees and avec drink specials, head over to Starr Bar. Their Pride night will feature DJs Monstar and Kandylion. Oh, also there will be beer pong. 

Aquatic Soiree Pride Edition

2 p.m. – 8 p.m., secret rooftop location in Bushwick, donation-based

The Aquatic Soiree is an annual daytime party organized by comedian Alex Andia and artist Sarah Lillz, which celebrates having grand time, bodies of all shapes and forms, and neighborly love. This year’s Pride edition will benefit Callen-Lorde and Brooklyn Public Library, so do not hesitate to donate. The party will feature pools, sun, and snacks. Weee!
