More Film Shoots in Bushwick! CBS’s “Bull” Set Up Shop in Market Hotel

The world today looks very different from the world we imagined we were living in yesterday— And there’s nothing like restoring normalcy with a quick nod to yet another film production in Bushwick. This one took place at Market Hotel on Tuesday.

This time, it was CBS, shooting what is likely the remainder of the first season of “Bull,” a show about a trial lawyer and his team of experts that stars Michael Weatherly of “NCIS” in a pair of specs that are not unlike the lenseless ones sported by Chris Hemsworth as the Ghostbuster’s clueless secretary.

Earlier episodes of “Bull” were shot in Ridgewood and Middle Village, making this not so well received “comedy-drama” a bit of a local darling.

The series is only six episodes in, so it’s the perfect time to start binge watching it while playing Tetris on your phone, or whatever you’re doing to de-stress after last night.

The silver lining here: Market Hotel ran into some trouble as DNAinfo reported back in October, for “warehousing” alcohol before they had been granted a one-day permit to sell it at a show that evening. The venue has relocated its shows since, which no doubt has impacted the nonprofit’s finances significantly; it’s good to see someone putting that awesome space to good use while the permitting issue is resolved.
