Ok, so there might still be snow on the ground and it’s hard to remember what trees actually look like with leaves, but the first intimations of warmer days are upon us. Yes, Bushwick Open Studios 2015 is coming!

Arts in Bushwick, the nine-year old local organization that produces this annual event, has announced BOS 2015 is slated for June 5-7 this year. Each year, AiB hosts a bunch of informational meetings, the first of which will be tonight 7-9PM at The Bodega.

If you’re an artist looking to register, interested in volunteering, or just want to know more about this year’s festivities, this is your first chance to meet this year’s organizers, grab a glass of malbec, and get into the BOS spirit!

If you’ve missed out on BOS before, this is Bushwick’s ultimate arts festival. What started as a handful of artists opening up their studios for a weekend, has turned into a full-blown art frenzy. While the event continues to grow and gain momentum and interest from folks beyond the borders of the J and L trains, the DIY spirit lives on and still centers on the participation of the neighborhood’s artists, galleries, and volunteers. Let’s keep the Bushwick in BOS also in 2015!

BOS 2015 meeting, Thursday, February 5, 5-7PM at The Bodega, 24 St Nicholas Ave. RSVP on Facebook here or head to artinsbushwick.org for more info.
