G trains will not run between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Court Square, the stretch through Williamsburg and Greenpoint, from 9:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the four nights from Monday, October 12, through the morning of Friday, October 16, while New York City Transit does structural maintenance on the Crosstown Line. On the weekends of October 16 to 19 and October 23 to 26, the line will run in two sections while crews replace track, the agency said.

During the overnight closures, G trains will run between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, the last stop, and free T403 shuttle buses will stop between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Court Square, with transfers at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues. Separate overnight changes in southern Brooklyn, where F and G trains skip three stations, began Monday, October 5.

On the two weekends, from Friday at 9:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., there will be no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets and Church Avenue. The G will run in two sections, one between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and one between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets, with trains every 20 minutes between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets. Riders transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues to continue their trip.

In southern Brooklyn, track replacement will make Coney Island-bound F trains and Church Avenue-bound G trains skip 4 Avenue-9 Street, 15 Street-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway from 10:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday through Thursday nights in the weeks of October 5, October 12 and October 19, and from 10:45 p.m. Friday, October 9, to 5 a.m. Monday, October 12. To reach those stations, riders take the F or G to 7 Avenue or Church Avenue and transfer to a Manhattan-bound F or a Court Square-bound G.

New York City Transit said the October changes include planned work on its communications-based train control (CBTC) signal modernization program as well as track work. It did not give a completion date for the work beyond the October 26 weekend.
