Rooftop Films is screening “URL IRL: Internet Shorts 2026” at Industry City’s Courtyard 5/6 in Brooklyn on Friday, July 24, the organization announced. Tickets are $22, with discounts available to Rooftop members.

The program features short films about digital identity, artificial intimacy, invisible labor, and “the search for meaning in an algorithmic age,” according to the Rooftop Films announcement. The organization says the lineup examines those themes as “humanity hurtles toward an uncertain future both online and off.”

The July 24 screening is part of Rooftop Films’ summer 2026 series, which spans several Brooklyn venues. The same announcement lists upcoming programs including New York Non-Fiction 2026 at Green-Wood Cemetery on July 31 and Love Is Strange: Romance Shorts 2026 back at Industry City on August 7, both $22. Rooftop Films is a Brooklyn-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit; the organization’s announcement states it has about 30 years of experience producing film events across New York City.
