Beer-Infused “Tipsy Scoops” Are Exactly what You Need to Celebrate National Ice Cream Month

So far, this Brooklyn summer has felt like living in a furnace. But July is National Ice Cream Month AND National Beer Month, so if you’re willing to break up with your air conditioner for a while, Lantern Hall is serving up some new boozy ice cream flavors that are worth braving the heat for.

Tipsy Scoop and digital media and event production firm Our Name is Farm have partnered to create a specially-designed beer ice cream and sorbet flight featuring brews exclusively from east coast breweries.

Tipsy Scoop at Lantern Hall .

The delicious frozen flavors include: “Mosaic Creamsicle,” a fruity, creamy IPA/soft serve blend from Gun Hill Brewing; “Happy Hour,” a rich peanutty ice cream infused with Jack’s Abby House Lager blended with pretzels and toffee; “Salty Pretzels on Fleek,” a chocolatey smoky blend created with Stillwater on fleek Imperial Stout; and “She’s a Maniac!,” a honey lemon sorbet made with Bushwick’s own KCBC Janiak Maniac Pilsner.

A flight of all these amazing flavors only costs $8, and for those of you wondering if you can actually taste the beer, the answer is yes. We tried them all and they’re amazing. BUT, they’re only available at Lantern Hall while supplies last, so get your summer treat before these scoops are all gone!
