Total Ridgewood Immersion, brought to you by Brooklyn Based, is the perfect opportunity to check out the neighborhood hugging all of Bushwick’s eastern edge if you haven’t made it past Cypress Avenue yet.
As Ridgewood Social reports, the immersion will take place on Saturday, June 3 and feature over 15 participating businesses.
The $15 ticket includes four free Brooklyn Brewery beers at four local bars: The Bonus Room, The Factory, Onderdonk & Sons, and Milo’s Yard. The $25 tickets gets you lunch at any of these spots or Paloma’s Mexican Cuisine.
The other participating businesses will extend deals to walking tour participants who will have from noon until 6 p.m. to traverse the neighborhood and do things like pick up some free pork from Ridgewood Pork Store or get a free cookie with the purchase of an iced coffee at Norma’s Corner Shoppe.
Organizers say you should plan to “spend the day exploring quaint, leafy streets, generations-old bakeries, and laid-back bars.” Sounds like a great early summer Saturday to us!
Get to The Bonus Room between noon and 1 p.m. to pick up your drink and optional food vouchers. Then, plan out your journey over your first beer.
