Join Bushwick Residents on a Bus to the Women's March on Washington

The charted bus will take you straight to the protest and back in one day.

Bushwick residents, Nina Keneally and Cibele Vieira, are putting together a bus trip for anyone who is interested to get down to Washington D.C. for protests on the day after the inauguration of you-know-who.

Keneally and Vieira, like many others, felt the need to take action after the election results came in. "We felt it vital to make our voices heard and our faces seen. How better than to assemble with other Americans in our nation's capital on inauguration weekend?" says Keneally.

The official event organizers describe the Women's March on Washington as a way to "send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that women's rights are human rights."

Details regarding registration and schedules can be found here. The cost is $75 which covers a round trip bus fare and tips for the drivers. There are around 45 seats left.

In order to guarantee that the trip will happen, seats have to be reserved by Wednesday, December 14. So don't delay!

Keneally adds that while "it may be called "women's" march, it is for all genders, races, ages, etc."
