Forget about coffee, forget about whiskey, let’s have a green juice that vibrates with summer awesomeness and health!

Okay, maybe let’s not forget about coffee and whiskey forever, but let’s set it aside for the moment to enjoy this new lovely juice place that opened to the joy of all folks living off Myrtle Wyckoff L train stop.

Baar has recently opened on Gates Ave (corner Myrtle Wyckoff); and it is distinctively branded little juice bar, located right just next to the Chinese dollar store and is operated by the same owners. (And yes, if you buy stuff for $20 in the Dollar Store you will get a free bubble tea).

I personally was dragged into TBaar by some invisible power that made me order Carrot, Apple, Orange & Tomato juice for $4.50. It was delicious, freshly pressed right in front of my eyes. Next time I went in to try Mr. Green Smoothie (kale, spinach, mango, orange and banana) for $5.50. It was pure amazingness.

I was not able to track down the owners and ask them about their mission or whether Baar is here to stay. I tried, called and asked, without a success unfortunately. However, the juices and smoothies are delicious and affordable. So pop in and pop out with a juice, smoothie or even a crazy bubble tea if you feel like it.

Update: A reader alerted us to the fact that it’s not Baar but TBaar and it is a franchise very popular in Chinatown and Flushing! I guess, we should get more out of the neighborhood!
