“There was nothing in this area so I decided to change it,” told us French American Bushwick resident Henry Glucroft while leaning against his new shiny bar at Sunrise/Sunset. As the name of place suggest the neighbors at 351 Evergreen Ave now have a new cafe to pick up their morning beverage from, as well as a friendly cocktail bar to end their day at.
Sunrise/Sunset is celebrating its grand opening tonight, and you can be one of the first people to enjoy this new establishment, and I mean, we all need experiences to tell our grandkids about, right? Expect good music, cocktails and wine!
Sunrise/Sunset is cleanly designed yet welcoming small cafe/bar, perfect for summer weeknights spontaneously turned into fun gatherings with your roommates outside of your living room. I am sure that many of you will appreciate the aesthetical choices of clean white and pastel colors and a refreshing depart from oh-so-typical reclaimed wood and rustic nostalgia look of too many Bushwick establishments.
The owner Henry Glucroft is no newbie in Bushwick. In 2010 he co-founded popular coffee shop Little Skips on Willoughby Ave (where he is not involved anymore), and in 2013 he opened Henry’s Wine & Spirits on Central Ave.
