Everyone’s favorite source of hand rolls in MorganVille is taking their sushi operation on the road. Momo Sushi Shack will be providing the sustenance at this weekend’s iteration of Butcher Paper Dinners, a series of dinner parties taking place throughout the summer and fall. The dinner parties are all held in the sky, on the flagship rooftop of the Brooklyn Grange. Find your seat along the reclaimed white oak table and enjoy a family style sushi and pork belly extravaganza. And feel good about yourself while you do it: Brooklyn Grange operates the world’s largest rooftop soil farms, and they grow over 40,000 pounds of organically-cultivated produce per year.
For $80 per person, you’ll be treated to octopus tacos with lobster, a wasabi shrimp and oyster cocktail, and more. Sip on wine from the Finger Lakes region, and shotgun a beer from the Queens borough, all while enjoying the sun set over the city skyline. Party starts at 5 PM; get tickets here!
Maybe you can’t make it this weekend, but keep an eye on this dinner party series. A BrisketTown evening is on the docket for November, and they’ve already feasted on Pies ‘n’ Thighs, so clearly, these people know what they’re doing.
