Olive Valley’s Gates are Shuttered… But is it For Good?

Olive Valley's Gates are Shuttered... But is it For Good?
Shuttered for good?

On Friday, we noticed Olive Valley had shuttered its gates, and took down its sign. Maybe it’s renovations, I thought at first, but as of last night the place is still closed.

There’s no notice as to what happened. There’s no sign in the window declaring a re-opening and as far as we know, no announcements have been made. The phone number on their Yelp goes to a different business. The potential permanent closure is sad since Olive Valley has been a Bogart go-to since its opening in 2008. They’ve has steadily maintained great prices and quick service. If shuttered for good, the healthy food options they serve ($6 for a salad plate and piece of pita), will surely be missed! They also only have a $5 minimum for credit cards.  Their sister-business Oasis however, is still booming right off of the Bedford Ave stop. Just another change in the neighborhood.
