On top of events dedicated to demanding justice for the death of Breonna Taylor and another group organizing to put an end to solitary confinement, the Occupy City Hall movement is growing! Spread the word and let us know which rally you attend. There is even a virtual rally as part of the HALT Solitary Confinement movement for those who are unable to attend in-person, find the link below to register. Plus, as always, consider these additional ways you can contribute to the Black Lives Matter movement from your home. And since we’re official in Phase Two of reopening NYC, consider grabbing your first, or second, or third meal out at one of these black-owned restaurants in Bushwick.
And if you, or someone you know is interested in yoga, check out this virtual, donation-based Rocket Yoga Training specifically for black yogis (no, you don’t need experience). You can pay anything from $1-$999 and all proceeds will be re-donated in the name of Black Lives Matter. You must register by July.
