There was a shooting in Bushwick Playground last night.

A 21-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured during the shooting according to several news sources including AM New York and PIX11

Bushwick Daily owner, Alec Meeker, saw several posts on the Citizen app that verified that locals had heard or seen the shooting at the park.

The shooting happened after 6 p.m. at the park on the corner of Knickerbocker Avenue and as of this reporting, no arrests have been made and no motives have been found for the shooting.

Once there is more information, Bushwick Daily will post an update on the shooting and if possible, give suggestions on how to help the victim’s family.
